Leading The Way In Private Treaty Livestock Sales

The Kentucky Farmer’s Forum

Do you have questions or answers about farming issues? Want to get the latest news on state and federal regulations? How about innovative ideas to make your homestead more of a home? Interested in some form of alternative farming? Or maybe just get different opinions from like-minded people across the Commonwealth?

Then come on over and join us at the Kentucky Farmer’s Forum.

Kentucky Livestock Exchange, as a service to our guests and members, operates the forum. The best part of all is it’s free to one and all! There just went any excuses you had for not joining us over on the forum.

One of the most exciting features of the Kentucky Farmer’s Forum is that it is a “living website”. It ebbs and flows with the most current areas of interest of the day. Don’t see a topical area of interest for you? No problem! You can start your own topic by simply requesting that thread be added to the category list!

Currently we offer twelve (12) main categories for discussion, each of them with numerous subcategories under them::

 Around the Farm

 Farm Management

 Livestock Production

 Tobacco Production

 Row Crop Production

 Other Crops

 Agricultural Chemicals

 Alternative Production

 Agricultural Regulations

 Agricultural Programs

 Farmers Resource Center

 Comments and Suggestions

This is the starting point that we, the farming communities around the Commonwealth, can build our informational network on.

The main idea here is to put one more tool in your box to help keep you and all Kentucky farmers competitive and on the cutting edge of the agricultural industry.

The "Kentucky Farmer’s Forum" is not a place for hidden personal or business agendas. That is not its intended purpose. There are plenty enough other sites out there already trying to sell you something or otherwise get in your pockets. Our vision of this site is clearly laid out in our mission statement that can be viewed under the newcomer’s section of the forum.

The "Kentucky Farmer’s Forum" is just one more example of farmers helping farmers: owned and operated by farmers, for farmers.

In the meantime…

“Grab yourself a cup of coffee and pull up a chair over here around the stove, son. Tell us somethin’ we don’t know…. Uh oh, John just walked in and he’s been to the FSA Office this mornin’. He has a whole handful of papers and I ain’t real crazy about that look on his face. Let's see what he has to tell us…”

"Kentucky Farmer’s Forum": a visit won’t cost you dime, just a little time well spent. Hope to see you there soon.
